Day 1: Akagera Arrival & Afternoon Game Drive
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before your Hope Tours driver-guide picks you up at your hotel, providing a brief safari overview. Embark on an exciting 2.5-hour drive to Akagera National Park, immersing yourself in Rwanda’s captivating landscapes. Upon arrival, register at the park headquarters, receive a briefing, and check in at your lodge for a delightful lunch.
In the afternoon, experience the thrill of an engaging game drive in Akagera National Park. Spend quality time exploring the African savannah, marveling at the diverse wildlife that populates the park. You might have a chance to encounter elephants, many types of antelope, zebras, and the other big five of Africa, all while being guided by your knowledgeable driver-guide.
Day 2: Akagera Game Drive & Return to Kigali
After an early breakfast, your Hope Tours Africa driver-guide will collect you from your lodge. Embark on a morning game drive, a 4 to 5-hour adventure through the African savannah. Immerse yourself in the beauty of elephants, antelopes and the captivating sounds of nature.
