DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park & visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus of Dian Fossey
After a relaxed breakfast, our guide will pick you up for a 2.5-hour scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. Check into Ndaza Escape, have lunch, and visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of Dian Fossey to delve into conservation efforts. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking, Cultural Experience, and Return to Kigali
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to Volcanoes National Park HQ for a briefing. Embark on a thrilling 1–6-hour gorilla trek, creating memorable moments with these majestic creatures. Post-trek, visit The Gorilla Guardians village to hear the inspiring stories of former poachers turned guardians and immerse yourself in Rwandan cultural experiences. Indulge in a late lunch before returning to Kigali, where our guide will drop you at your hotel or the airport.
